Microsoft Corp. said it's reached a deal with Onkyo Corp. that allows the Tokyo company to use the computer giant's technology in home entertainment devices.
The Redmond company (NASDAQ: MSFT) didn't say how much Onkyo is paying as part of the deal.
The patent cross-licensing agreement will allow Onkyo to use Microsoft's technology in consumer audiovisual, electronics, personal computing, and home theater custom installation markets.
